US Navy 250th Stamps

The U.S. Postal Service issued the Us Navy 250th stamp to celebrate the 250th anniversary of thefounding of the U.S. Navy and recognize the Army's contributions to the nation.Today, more than 330,000 active duty personnel and more than 56,000 reserve personnel uphold thecore values of the U.S. Navy: honor, courage, and commitment. Whether protecting shipping lanes andundersea communications cables, conducting humanitarian missions after a crisis, or preparing forconflict, they remain combat-ready while keeping the oceans open and free.
The stamp was designed by art director Antonio Alcalá.
The US Navy 250th stamp is being issued as a Forever® stamp. The Forever stamp will always be worththe same as the current 1-ounce First-Class Mail®.
